We are a new community-based music organization serving Alexandria and the Central Lakes Area of Minnesota.
We believe music has the power to bring people together, build meaningful connections, and enrich lives. Through welcoming, high-quality musical experiences, we're creating a place where children, youth, and adults can discover the joy of making music together.
A Community Built Around Music
At Runestone Music Community, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the beauty and transformative power of music.
Rooted in belonging, excellence, accessibility, and transformation, we're building a musical community where every voice is valued, personal growth is encouraged, and meaningful connections are made.
Find Your Voice. Find Your Community.
We're excited to introduce two foundational programs designed to bring singers together across generations.
For Adult Singers
Runestone Chorus
A welcoming community chorus bringing adults together through music, artistic growth, and a commitment to beautiful performances. Whether you're an experienced singer or reconnecting with your love of music, there's a place for you.
For Young Voices
Runestone Kids Chorus
An engaging musical community where children in grades 2–6 can grow in confidence, enhance their music skills, develop their voices, build friendships, and discover the joy of singing together.
Be Part of the Music.
We're building a community where music brings people together, and we'd love for you to be part of it.
There's a place for everyone at Runestone Music Community. Whether you're interested in singing, attending performances, supporting our mission, or simply learning more, we'd love to connect with you.
